A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the main communications office (upper) on 02 deck looking to starboard in the aft corner showing two operator's positions, each equipped with a morse key. The corner position has an Olivetti 82 typewriter.
