A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in an unidentified electronics compartment and negatives numbers PM3104/25, PM3104/26, PM3104/27, PM3105/28 and PM3105/29 were all taken in the same compartment. On the left are two cabinets, the upper one is marked 'cabinet marker generators' and the lower one is 'marker generator cabinet'. On the deck is a wooden crate marked 'calibrator chassis' and an electric fire is on the end bulkhead. On the right are power supply units with a visual display unit beyond them.
