A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in an unidentified electronics compartment and negatives numbers PM3104/25, PM3104/26, PM3104/27, PM3105/28 and PM3105/29 were all taken in the same compartment. He is looking into a corner of the compartment and an electric fire is on the end bulkhead. In the corner is a desk with drawers under. A mass of papers and two flexible lamps are on the desk and a telephone is above it. On the right is a visual display unit.
