A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in an unidentified electronics compartment and negatives numbers PM3104/25, PM3104/26, PM3104/27, PM3105/28 and PM3105/29 were all taken in the same compartment. A desk and tubular steel chair are in the corner of the compartment. Above the desk is a first aid cabinet with a jar of instant coffee on top of it. An electric fire is partly hidden by the chair and a number of electrical boxes are on the bulkhead.
