A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the bakery on the port side of 5 deck between 20 and 30 stations. He is looking to starboard in the bread cooling space showing racks full of cardboard boxes with 'bakery' stencilled on them. On one of the shelves are a number of circular and rectangular tins and a lid. An arched opening into the bakery is on the right. A vertical format negative.
