A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier' Hermes' (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed-wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the bakery on the port side of 5 deck between 20 and 30 stations. He is looking to starboard and forward at the entrance doorway and starboard bulkhead of the bakery. An automatic emergency lantern is outside the door. A stainless steel worktop with shelves under is on the left and on the worktop are four pies, a pot of glace cherries and a box of 2 lb jam tins.
