A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the ship operations room on 01 deck between 87 and 100 stations. The photographer is looking to port and slightly aft showing a number of electrical control boxes and other units on the port bulkhead and a stateboard is in the left background. On the left are two JHA display consoles.
