A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the ship operations room on 01 deck between 87 and 100 stations. The photographer is looking to port showing a number of electrical and electronic units, an electric fire, an Opgen 'A' stateboard and a Helicopter stateboard on the port bulkhead. Two JHA display consoles are on the right and another three are on the left. A fire extinguisher is on the deck on the right.
