A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the Lt Cdr operations room annexe on 01 deck between 87 and 91 stations, looking to port from the forward end of the room, showing a small chart table with drawers under. A Mark IV combination safe and a noticeboard are on the left. A power panel and another noticeboard are above the chart table and a telephone is on it.
