A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in an unidentified electrical equipment room on one of the lower decks. The solid backs of cabinets is on the right, a full height cupboard with two sliding doors is against the end bulkhead and a wire mesh cage is on the left. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers PM3112/27, PM3112/28, PM3113/29 and PM3113/30 were all taken in the same compartment.
