A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in an unidentified electrical equipment room on one of the lower decks. Wire mesh cages numbered 7 to 13 and labelled as 440 volts units are on the right. Two fuse or power boxes are on the end bulkhead. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers PM3112/27, PM3112/28, PM3113/29 and PM3113/30 were all taken in the same compartment.
