A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the main communications office (lower) on 01 deck between 100 and 109 stations. He is looking forward and to starboard from starboard side aft showing a connection unit in the foreground with three combination safes, two telephones and some control boxes on the starboard bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
