She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the lobby between the weapons lift and the commando group other ranks mess on the port side of 4 deck between 166 and 168½ stations. He is looking aft through the door in station 166 to the weapons lift and two men are carrying a stretcher out. The commando group other ranks mess would be used as an emergency casualty sorting area if necessary, using the weapons lift to get casualties down from the hangar deck. A vertical format negative.
