A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is in the assault operations room on the starboard side of 1 deck between 91 and 107 stations, looking aft from the port forward corner of the room showing a folding table in the right foreground. A VHA display unit is in the centre and a man in overalls is sitting at the SACC plot. Communications desks are in the background.
