A port bow view of Cunard Line cruise ship Carinthia (1925) at anchor in the Nordfjord at Loen, Norway. The ship has a black hull and white upperworks, her starboard anchor is deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged at a port side shell door amidships. Lifeboat number 2 has been launched and lifeboat 16 is suspended in its falls just above the water. Mount Hoven in the background is partially obscured by low cloud.
The ship adopted an all-white livery from 1932. The negative is slightly out of focus.
