A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in No. 10 dry dock in the north yard of Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is on the starboard side of 1 (flight) deck at station 183 looking aft, to starboard and down showing the stowage position for the two 14 feet GRP sailing dinghies, the MRS3 director and the GWS22 Seacat missile launcher. A vertical format negative.
