A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Carinthia (1925) anchored in the Aaspevaagen off Aalesund, Norway. Her starboard anchor is deployed and her port anchor is hanging below the hawse. An accommodation ladder is rigged at a starboard side shell door amidships and numbers 1 and 15 lifeboats are missing from their falls. she has a black hull and white upperworks and from 1932 the ship's hull was painted white.
