A 35mm roll film negative. A starboard side view of the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in No. 10 dry dock in the north yard of Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is on the dockside looking across a construction site at the starboard side of the ship between 50 and 125 stations showing the forward part of the island superstructure.
