A 35mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) in the north yard of Devonport Dockyard in June 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is on the port side of the hangar at 148 station on 3 deck looking to starboard. On the starboard bulkhead are an A/C hydraulic service trolley and hose, a watertight door, an HP air panel, an HP/LP air panel, cable reels and a fire extinguisher. Above the door is a stowed hop-up scaffold tower.
