A 35 mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) alongside 6 and 7 wharves in the north yard of Devonport Dockyard in early July 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is above the port flight (1) deck walkway looking aft from 178 station. Fire point No. 20, four lockers and three cable reels are in the walkway. A dory is in its stowed position on the right with the GWS22 Seacat missile system beyond it. A vertical format negative.
