A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the crew and Royal Marine's mess between 50 and 56 stations on 3 deck. The photographer is in the centre of the mess at 54½ station looking forward showing kit lockers on the left. On the right are kit, personal and coat lockers and an ironing board is fitted to the end of the lockers. An automatic emergency lantern is on the forward bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
