A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the crew and Royal Marine's mess between 50 and 56 stations on 3 deck. The photographer is in the centre of the mess at 54½ station looking to starboard. A triple tier bunk unit and stacks of kit lockers are on the left. A triple tier bunk unit, three rows of coat hooks on the end of a coat locker and stairs leading up to 2 deck are on the right. Personal and coat lockers and a triple tier bunk unit are against the starboard side of the ship. A vertical format negative.
