A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the crew and Royal Marine's mess between 50 and 56 stations on 3 deck. The photographer is to port of the centre line of the mess looking forward between two rows of very tidy triple tier bunk units. A double door locker numbered 5 and an automatic emergency lantern are against the forward bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
