A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the crew and Royal Marine's mess between 50 and 56 stations on 3 deck. The photographer is in the middle of the port side of the mess at 53 station looking forward showing two tidy triple tier bunk units on the left. Two tables and chairs are in the centre and a steel dresser unit is against the forward bulkhead next to an emergency escape scuttle rope ladder. A vertical format negative.
