A distant port side view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Carinthia (1925) anchored off Reykjavik, Iceland, her starboard anchor is deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged at a port side shell door amidships. Numbers 2 and 16 lifeboats are missing from their falls. She has a black hull with white upperworks and from 1932 she adopted an all-white livery.
