A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the crew's mess between 78 and 85 stations on 2 deck. The photographer is on the centre line of the mess at 83 station looking to starboard showing a loudspeaker fixed to a pillar in the right foreground. An ironing board and a Mickey Mouse artwork are fixed to the end of a locker unit on the right. A triple tier bunk unit with a Newcastle United pendant hanging on the end is on the left. Stairs leading up to 1 deck are on the extreme left. A vertical format negative.
