In the crew's mess between 78 and 85 stations on 2 deck. The photographer is on the centre line of the mess at 81 station looking forward showing two rows of kit lockers and triple tier bunk units. A daily orders notice board is fixed to end of the lockers on the left. Ventilation trunking and a loudspeaker are fixed to the forward bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
