A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the PO's mess between 73 and 78 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck. The photographer is looking aft and to starboard from the aft end of the mess showing the lounge and bar area. The bar is named "The Medicine Lodge". A settee bench is against the aft bulkhead and there is a Benson & Hedges calendar depicting the Albert Bridge between Battersea and Chelsea hanging above the bench. Tables and stools made from beer firkins are in front of the bench. There are three calendars in this picture and they are all showing April 1972.
