A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the PO's mess between 73 and 78 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck. The photographer is looking forward and to port from the lounge area. The door to the mess is on the left and it is labelled "Ladies". A full height sliding door cupboard, a full height emergency first aid locker and four kit lockers are in the centre of the picture. On the right are two armchairs and kit lockers. An automatic emergency lantern is on a circular trunking.
