A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the PO's mess between 73 and 78 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck. The photographer is sitting on a bunk looking forward and to port from the starboard side at 74 station showing the access hatch in 73 bulkhead into the CPO's mess. Above this access is a smaller clipped hatch and a tannoy. A triple tier bunk unit is on the right . A stowage locker for an emergency hand lamp is fixed to the back of a triple bunk unit on the left and an oil tight scuttle is in the deck. A vertical format negative.
