A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the charthouse between 43½ and 44½ stations to port of the centre line on 01 deck. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard showing one end of the chart table with a bookshelf above it. As well as the usual Pilot and Lights series, the other publications include Inman's Nautical Tables, Admiralty Manual of Navigation, A Seaman's Guide to the Rule of The Road, The Mariner's Handbook, Nemedri, and BR766 Helo Op Book.
