A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the MRS3 maintenance and type 978 office between 46½ and 48 stations to port of the centre line on 01 deck. The photographer is looking forward and to port from aft showing a nest of drawers with a transmitter receiver unit, an Admiralty pattern 6150 control unit and an oscillator control unit above them. Two telephones and type 978 transmitter and receiver units are on the port bulkhead . An hand written note which reads "Look! If overheat lamp is alight switch off the set and report it to the duty senior radio rate. Look!" is taped to the receiver unit. A vertical format negative.
