A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. The ship's office between 54½ and 56 stations on the starboard side of 1 deck. The photographer is looking aft and to starboard through the stable type doorway showing a desk with a two drawer filing cabinet and a safe beneath it. Shelving for ledgers and for thin files and documents is on the starboard bulkhead above the desk. A vertical format negative.
