A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. The ship's office between 54½ and 56 stations on the starboard side of 1 deck. The photographer is inside the cramped office looking to port. A sliding door cupboard is on the left with a Royal Navy calendar showing April 1972 hanging on it. Two steel cupboards are in the corner with a four drawer filing cabinet next to them. On the right is a desk with pigeon hole shelving above it and a rack containing various rubber stamps is at the back of the desk. Two photographs of pin-up females and a photograph of the ship are in evidence. A vertical format negative.
