A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the diesel generator compartment between 61 and 65½ stations on 1 deck. The photographer is looking aft on the port side of the compartment. The door and bulkhead to the gas turbine uptake is on the left and the port Paxman 6 cylinder diesel engine is on the right. A fire extinguisher and an automatic emergency lantern are on the aft bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
