A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the diesel generator compartment between 61 and 65½ stations on 1 deck. The photographer is looking aft and to port from the forward end of the port side of the compartment showing the forward end of the port Paxman six cylinder diesel engine. The emergency escape door in the port bulkhead is on the right with an automatic emergency lantern to the left of it. A vertical format negative.
