A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the diesel generator compartment between 61 and 65½ stations on 1 deck. The photographer is looking to port from the forward end of the starboard side of the compartment showing three 4000 lb p.s.i. starting gas cylinders on the left. A motor is on the right and a workbench fitted with a Paramo No. 48 vice is in the background with the port side emergency escape door beyond it. A vertical format negative.
