A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the diesel generator compartment between 61 and 65½ stations on 1 deck. The photographer is looking to port from the aft end of the starboard side of the compartment showing the end of the 750 KW generator in the right foreground. The door to the compartment is on the left and an automatic emergency lantern is mounted next to it. A vertical format negative.
