A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the diesel generator compartment between 61 and 65½ stations on 1 deck. The photographer is looking aft and to starboard from the forward end of the starboard side of the compartment showing the front end of the six cylinder Paxman diesel engine. The emergency escape door in the starboard bulkhead can be seen beyond the vertical piping on the left. A vertical format negative.
