A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the main communication office between 41 and 45 stations on the port side of 2 deck. The photographer is looking aft from the forward end of the office showing a duplicating machine and a telephone switchboard on the left. In the right foreground is a shredding machine. Three operator's desks are on the right, the furthest two having Power Equipment Company Powquip teleprinters. Against the aft bulkhead is another teleprinter and an eight drawer filing cabinet.
