A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the main communication office between 41 and 45 stations on the port side of 2 deck. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard from the aft end of the office showing the position of the rating in charge. This station is fitted with a number of telephones, intercom equipment and a speaking tube. A steel box with a combination lock is at the back of the desk. There are ledgers on the desk and a calendar is showing Tuesday 11 April 1972. A vertical format negative.
