A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the operations room between 41½ and 45½ stations on 1 deck. The photographer is looking aft from 43½ station on the starboard side showing a type 979 visual display unit in the centre. A plotting table and amplifier unit is on the left with a speed and distance register pitometer log, a rudder position indicator and a wind speed and direction indicator above it. A navigation information board is above an Emcom policy board on the right and fitted to the deckhead is a number of intercom units.
