A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the operations room between 41½ and 45½ stations on 1 deck. The photographer is looking to starboard and aft from 44 station on the port side showing headsets and intercoms hanging from the deckhead in the centre. On the left are the asdic type 170 attacker unit above two terminal boxes and a tannoy, which is mounted at deck level. The closed box above the attacker unit is the limbo control unit and next to it is another asdic control unit. The anti submarine warfare officer's plotting table is beyond the deck mounted visual display unit in the foreground and another plotting table is to the right.
