A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the operations room between 41½ and 45½ stations on 1 deck. The photographer is looking forward and to port from the centre of the room at 43½ station showing the door to the sonar control room on the right with a fire extinguisher mounted on the frame. To the left of the door are three positions for communications ratings and above these positions is a fleet disposition panel. On the left is the radar console with a threat radars spot numbers board above it.
