A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the enclosed bridge between 40½ and 43½ stations on 01 deck. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard from the port side of the commanding officer's chair. The pelorus is in the centre and on the starboard side are the ship speed, shaft speed, shaft revolution and rudder position instruments. A vertical format negative.
