A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the enclosed bridge between 40½ and 43½ stations on 01 deck. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard from abaft the commanding officer's chair. A table for three communications men is against the forward bulkhead. Two of the positions are fitted with morse keys and the nearest position has two speaking tubes. A chart table with drawers and cupboards under is on the right with the starboard bridge wing door beyond it. An electronic piece of equipment is on the deck in the left foreground, presumably waiting to be fitted.
