A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the main communication office between 41 and 45 stations on the port side of 2 deck. The photographer is looking to starboard and aft from the starboard side at the aft end of the office showing a steel cupboard fitted with a combination lock and numbered 23. Bookshelves are above the cupboard. On the aft bulkhead a maintenance bay has a teleprinter on it, a junction box above it and a clock reading 7.59. A multi-drawer filing cabinet is on the right. The negative has been vertically sliced in two and repaired with plastic tape.
