A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the operations room between 41½ and 45½ stations on 1 deck. The photographer is looking to starboard from the starboard side at the aft end of the room showing the door to the commanding officer's sleeping cabin on the right with the helicopter plotting table beyond it. A ship, aircraft and unit situation board is in the corner. A plotting table with a course and speed indicator unit next to it are on the left. A clock reading 7.43 and an helicopter intercom and visual reporting junction box are on the starboard bulkhead.
