A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the sonar control room between 41 and 43 stations on the starboard side of 1 deck. The photographer is looking aft from forward showing the console for the sonar type 177 to the right of the door leading to the operations room. Above the door is a clock reading 9.00 and a tannoy. To the left of the door is an automatic emergency lantern and control and starter boxes for the type 170B sonar.
