A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the 4.5" handing room and crew shelter between 37½ and 41½ stations on 1 deck. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard from the port side of the compartment showing the two 4.5" hoists in the foreground. On the right is a stowage cupboard. An automatic emergency lantern, two ammunition scuttles and the door to starboard side of the forecastle are on or in the forward bulkhead and the watertight hatch leading down to 2 deck is next to the bulkhead. A toolbox belonging to S Watkins is on the deck on the starboard side.
